Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Hi friends, my name is Mooshu and I am a 8 year old boy who has been at CARA for some time now.  I am looking for a very particular home.  One where I am the only animal and that has only one human in the home, and willing to put me up when there are visitors present.  I am a scared little guy and when faced with more than one human I get very overwhelmed.  Whoever my future mom/dad may be I would need to meet with several times at CARA before we can make my adoption complete.  I need this time to be able to feel comfortable with my new human.  I know that there is someone out there that fits this description, would follow it to the T and will love me for me.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
