Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.

Josie is an 8 week old lab mix puppy! She is full of puppy energy and puppy breath! Since she is so young, Josie has been with a foster. Josies' foster mom has potty trained her to use puppy pads and she very rarely makes accidents off the pad! That's wonderful for such a young pup! Josie has also been working on crate training. It's hard for a young puppy, but with the exposure while at the foster home, she is very trainable as she gets older. Josie has not been spayed yet, so she will require a spay/neuter contract at the time of adoption. Submit your application today! Josie will be ready to go to a new home on December 13th, just in time for Christmas!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
