Learn more about the Beagle.

Meet Copper! He's a 2 year old beagle/hound mix! He's currently in a foster home and is doing great! His foster mom says he's great with children, cats, other dogs, and even babies. He loves to be around people and sleep in the same room as one of the kids. He'll display that famous howl of a beagle if he's left alone too long. Copper is a major sweetheart and loves to cuddle. If playing outside is more your style, then he'll be happy to chase tennis balls. If you're interested in meeting Copper let CARA know beforehand so he can meet you there!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
