Learn more about the Dachshund.

Meet Rudy! He's a 10 month old terrier mix and is a very fun little guy. He loves to run, but he's also happy with cuddling. He's very curious and eager to learn new things. He weighs about 25 pounds with potential of reaching 30 pounds as he gets older. Rudy is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, and is microchipped. He is not yet neutered, but will be either before adoption or under a neuter contract with his new family. If you're interested in meeting Rudy, he'll be available to visit on February 25th. If you're VERY interested, we recommend filling out an adoption application because he is sure to find a new home quickly! (CARA 02.15.17)

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
