Well, hello there! My name is Lily and I express my happiness through my big, beautiful smile and wagging tail. Other dogs jump and bark when they are excited and happy, but I prefer to take a more subtle approach, using just my smile and wagging tail to express my love. My calm demeanor works well with children who haven't been around many dogs or are just figuring out how to walk on those two little feet (too bad they don't have 4 of them, I found it is easier). My coat is short, smooth white fur, with artistically placed black markings. I've been told I could have been a muse of Picasso, an animal lover who lovingly depicted his dog in a black and white sketch titled "Dog". I don't know this person, but I'm a lover of people who are animal lovers. Come to CARA to meet me and I'll perform my adorable low crawl up to meet your hands which are ready to give belly scratches!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
