Hiya, my name is Cody and I even make myself laugh. I love to take pictures and play with my foster siblings. I will be content to lay my head in your arms while I slumber away. Cody is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. I get along well with other dogs, and I even do well with kitties! I live in a great foster home right now, but I am not around children. I am house trained, although I am not crate trained – I do well in my foster home in the house. I am used to being with my foster pet family when my foster mom leaves the house, so I am used to company :-) I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know you I am quite the loving pup. I am not too energetic, but I do like to get some exercise. I walk well on a leash, and I know how to sit, how to come, and I know was the word “no” means. I do sometimes bark when I see someone new, but I have never been mean to anyone. It takes me a while sometimes to warm up to people, and I can be very aloof when I first meet people, but I am a really nice dog who is waiting for my forever home. .

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
