Hi Folks! My name is Cody and man, has my life been an adventure so far! I was found in a puppy mill at the age of 3 weeks old (I'm now 16 weeks). I was scared, neglected and motherless. Along came CARA (and my foster mommy) who nurtured me back to health and has since, spoiled me silly. I love that part! I have been in a foster home where I have learned to sit, go down, shake hands & kennel up and good news -- they housetrained me. I am ready for a loving home where I can continue to be cherished. I give great kisses, I am full of personality and loyalty and I adore cuddling.

If you would like to adopt Cody, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application and e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org with an explanation of why you think you could provide the best home.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
