Learn more about the Australian Shepherd. To see more animals for adoption, please visit the CARA Website All this and brains too! Dickson is so smart and is very kind. Unfortunately he was brought to the shelter heartworm positive and suffering from a treatable skin disorder. Thanks to a very generous CARA supporter, Dickson's costs for his treatment of heartworms has been donated, and he is currently in a foster home undergoing treatment. If all goes well, he should be able to go to his forever home approximately November 15, 2005. Due to Dickson's breed it is reccommended that he go to a home free of cats. Aussies love to herd! If you would like to adopt Dickson, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.
More about DicksonNot Good with Cats Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt! |
