Emma is a great girl. We are guaging her to be about 4 years old and purebred. She was picked up by animal control and looked like she belonged with someone so we took her in to help her find her home. Even though its been over 2 weeks no one has come forward to claim her. Because she is such a doll we didn't have the heart to send her back to be euthanized so here she is.

Emma is housetrained, quite overweight and tennis ball crazy. In fact, she's so nuts about tennis balls she'll bowl another dog over to get to the ball first or take it away. If you have a little dog it would be better if Emma didn't play ball with them.

We don't know her history and she is going to the vet today to see if she shows a spay scar.

Emma is just an all around great dog who deserves a great home!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
