Hello, I am Garnet. It may look like I am sad because of the white stripe under my chin, but I am really just as happy as I can be! I think my markings give me character? Don't you think so too? All I really want is a forever home. I love my mom and my siblings, but I am ready for a place of my own :-):-)

Garnet and her siblings (Topaz , Emerald, her mom Sapphire, and their friend Ella) are special need kittens as they unfortunately contacted the FCV (Feline Calici Virus) from their mother. They will need to go into homes with other FCV positive cats or into homes by themselves.

To learn more about FCV visit The Winn Feline Foundation for more information. If you are looking for more than one kitty, why not consider two of these wonderful and loving kitties!

If you would like to adopt Garnet, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
