Good news!!! Happy had the mass removed off her knee and her mammary area and both were benign. YEAH! No cancer cells found. This girl is now ready to go

Happy appears to be a puppy mill dog who was dumped when she was no longer useful. But whatever her previous life held she holds no grudges and lives up to her name - Happy. This angelic girl craves human attention. She is definately a velcro dog and will prove to follow you until the end of her days.

Happy arrived very obviously having given birth not too long ago. She had developed a mammary mass which holds the possibility of being cancerous. She will undergo surgery to remove the mass and be spayed on 9/19/03. At this time she will be checked for any malignant cells. We all hope her results will be nothing less than positive so she can go to a home where she will be cherished as much as she will cherish you.

Happy is about 3 years old. If you are interested in adopting Happy please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
