Lucky Lucy was thrown out a car window about a month and a half ago by her previous owners. At only about 2 pounds, she was starved and had some missing hair. Scared of people, my husband brought her home and gave Lucy her first bath. Lucy's reaction to water told us she had never been bathed before.

Lucy, now healthy and happy, is a wonderful puppy. She has opened up to our family including our children, dogs and cat. She loves them all. She has shown no aggressiveness and plays well with everyone. Lucy is just waiting for someone to give her a home of her own.

Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
 
All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
