Marmalade will be ready for his forever home June 14.

Marmalade had a wonderful home and then his human mommy died. He escaped from the apartment he was living in after being alone inside for 14 days. He began living under the apartment building while the complex owner fed him every day.

CARA received a call and we couldn't pass this sweet boy over. He is so loving. He had been bitten by something under the apartment building and had developed a really bad abcess which had to be treated. Poor Marmalade has had it pretty rough.

Marmalade is about 1 1/2 - 2 years old and is neutered. He is litter trained and would love a warm lap to snuggle in.

If you'd like to adopt Marmalade please visit CARA and fill out an online application. Or e-mail cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
