Poor Penny, she's really had a time. She was rescued from a kill shelter and then diagnosed with heartworms. A kind lady has offered to pay for treatment so hopefully things are looking up. If you could take the time to meet Penny you would find a friendly, cute, happy all the time, active, young lady who loves belly rubs!. She really is special.

Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
 
All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
