Please bring me home for the holidays...

I've heard stories about Christmas trees and twinkling lights, children laughing, and family nights, the crackle of a warm fireplace -- so here I go to plead my case.

I promise that I'll try to be good and mind my manners as any girl should. I don't ask for much just a warm bed and a home; anythings better than being alone. I've been waiting months for someone to say, "She's the one! She's great! Let's take her today!" The people here, although they're kind just can't take the wish of a home off my mind. They tell me I'm special someone will see, but until that happens in this kennel I'll be.

Starr is a very smart, energetic girl. She calms down nicely once inside your home and loves to follow you from room to room. She adores other dogs and children. This little girl will devote herself to you and give you more love than you could imagine.

Starr is about 18 months old, weighs 45 lbs. and is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, dewormed, and spayed.

If you would like to adopt Starr, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
