Hello, Friend! That is how you can greet me when we meet at CARA since my name means "friend" in Swahili. I'll answer to Rafiki as well because it's just fun to say and reminds me of the loyal Mandrill who starred in "The Lion King". I give both the animated movie and Broadway production four paws up! Everyone deserves a dependable and loving friend to share in life's joy and remind you the not so great days will get better. You can always count on me to be available and attentive when talking about your long day at work or the exciting adventures had with your taller, two-legged friends. After a frustrating day on the golf course I'll tell you to shake it off because even the pros can have an off-round. We can agree it was obviously due to the wind or uncomfortable new golf shoes. These moments are what furrriends are for! My vaccinations and preventatives are up to date but I'll have to sit out on the weekend warrior events (lack of thumbs and limb length issue). I'm excellent at rhythmic gymnastics and we can do this together if you operate the Stick-With-Attached-Ribbon (apparatus technical term, I think) for me while I chase it. I'm probably better at this sport than you are but it's about the fun experienced together, not who is more skilled. In the end, we both win naps. Alright, see you soon, friend!!
More about RafikiGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt! |
