Have you ever wished you could get close to the tigers at the zoo?  You want so badly to pet their beautiful fur and snuggle!  I don't recommend this my friends, they aren't affectionate...like me!  My name is Arthur, a Jack Russell Terrier/hound mix with smooth brindled fur which appears across my sides and legs like the stripes of a bengal tiger.  This tiger loves snuggles and love, and will give affection to you that leaves you smiling, not freaked out!  Much like a tiger in the jungle, my first 5 months of my life was spent roaming the wild, looking for a home to share my love.  Now that I am safe at CARA, I am one step closer to being with a family who appreciates I am all love and no ROAR!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
