My name is Ginger. I am one of the many senior dogs that are currently looking for a home at CARA.  I was adopted from CARA at 5 years old, and am now 12. I was returned this month because my family was moving and could not take me with.

Of course my heart is completely broken, but I have been getting extra love to help heal my heart. I was in dire need of a dental and mass removal around my eye. Thankfully CARA got that done for me and I am feeling so brand new!!! I am a VERY easy going girl. I am low-paced and calm. I would do best as the only dog in the home. I am housebroken. I ride well in a car.

At my age, and all I've been through I really just hope someone will take a chance on an old girl like me. I am just as deserving as a puppy, and might I add MUCH easier to adjust to a new home!!!

Please inquire about me!!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
