No, I am not part Great Horned Owl, but I do share the magnificent golden eye color and owl-wisdom.  My ears are not just feathered tuffs simulating the presence of ears on top of our respective heads.  Poor owls, they don’t get to experience the awesome ear-scratchies I love to receive since they aren’t really open to cuddling and only have feather covered apertures to hear with.  On second thought, their hearing is far more acute…hmmm.  Well, my cashmere-soft fluffy fur is hard to resist and this circles back to the cuddling of me and love I will give to my furrever family.  Gotcha there, owls!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
