It’s rather nice being fluffy.  Having to spend each day looking as inviting as a billowing cloud means I am a prime snuggle buddy.  I don’t think it is bragging when you recognize repeated compliments given.  I admit that I do feel like plush knit Italian cashmere and provide the luxurious warmth of a Scandia 900 power fill goose down blanket.  Entertaining myself with my various jingly toys or ribbons fluttering with the push of an air vent is so much fun for me and how I ensure this fur maintains the perfect fluff.  Yes, I’m pretty and have great fur, but the only thing that would make me truly happy is companionship.  I love being with all people and enjoy when they talk to me.  My English is not so good, but I do respond in Cattus (Latin-based cat language I developed).  If you ask, “Do you think Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow this February”, I will honestly respond, “Meow”.  My furrever home is where I will share the warmth provided by fluffiness but more so from the larger source contained within my heart.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
