To whom this may concern,

My name is Uno. I have been at CARA since June. You can really see the difference in my appearance if you look at my pictures above. When I was just a tiny kitten, I really was not comfortable being held my humans, I was so scared :(

I currently am the star of the cat room. I have opened up so much to humans and just really want a forever home before the holidays. My best buddy is Grease Monkey the longest resident cat here at CARA. I play with him all night and we snuggle together all day. I love Grease Monkey so much because when I was fairly young he would check up on me and groom me often to make sure I was healthy. It would be wonderful if we would get adopted together, but I understand if someone just falls in love with me. Please come meet me!!! I am always at CARA

UPDATE: Grease Monkey has been adopted. I have been loosing some hair due to stress. All of my CARA human volunteers have other cats in foster care with medical needs so I have to stay at CARA. I would like to find my puurrrfect home soon, so I can start to feel loved and hopefully grow my hair back.

* Special information regarding adopting Puppies and Kittens*

Our adoption fees are:

* Altered puppies dogs $ 155

* Altered kittens & cats $ 95

* Puppies under 4 months who have not been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $115 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption

* Kittens under 4 months who have not been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $70 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption

Our policy is that all adopted animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving the premises. If at any time an animal under the age of 4 months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter agrees to have the animal being adopted spayed/neutered by a veterinarian of their choice by the age of 6 months. As part of this contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter contract. All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
