Hello. My name is Pooky. I am a shy little gal, who has not had the most pleasant start at life. One of my ears is missing a large part of it's tip, which means someone may have tried cutting it off, and unfortunately succeeded. I also came to CARA with some longer than normal nails and one was even embedded in my paw pad. I try not to remember any of this because it hurts my heart. All I know now is that I am safe and the CARA humans are giving me extra love so that I can learn to love humans again. I am very affectionate and am in need of a very special owner. I don't ever want to feel pain again. I have not been at CARA very long, but once I am available for viewing the humans here will post more about my personality and temperament.

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
