To explain a Chihuahua with a few easy words:

I am a energetic athlete with the self-confidence of a mastiff in a teeny tiny body. I own the world and will defend you against all evil. I will love you as only Pepe (the skunk from the Bugs Bunny Movies) can love you. And my heart will be yours forever.

Where my Ancestors came from we were considered gifts from the Gods and I well know it. We are also known to hunt creatures much larger than us and know no fear.

We are known to be fircely loyal and treat you with all the affection our hot hispanic blood can muster. We also love to talk and like to keep you updated with what is going on around the neighborhood. And I really wouldn't mind checking it out in person either.

I am heartworm negative, UTD on shots and preventatives and will be neutered.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
