Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Hello friends, I am Louie and I am a sweet boy who has recently arrived here at CARA with my sister Lola.  We were surrendered because our family had a change in their situation and could no longer keep us.  We are super sweet and love to play and cuddle with our humans and each other.  Our friends at CARA believe that we are a bonded pair and should be adopted together, as we have been together our whole lives.  If you are interested in adopting us please put in an application on our website at cara-nc.org.  Once it is approved we can set up a meeting for you to come in and meet us.  Looking forward to finding that loving family who will keep us with them and together forever.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
