Learn more about the Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler.

Hello. My name is Dumpling. I am a super AFFECTIONATE, vivacious middle-aged gal. I am super charasmatic and everyone here at CARA LOVES me so much. My life prior to CARA was....ugh lets just say not the best. I have some scarring around my neck from where I wore a prong collar and was tethered in a yard. But the past is in the PAST and I will not let it define me!!! I am a lot for other dogs to handle so I would rather be an only dog. I also would prefer no children in the home, so I have a better chance at fitting in. I like kids but they can be unpredictable. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHUNKY, SPUNKY, SHORT LITTLE MUFFIN, WHO WANTS TO GO ON PLENTY OF ADVENTURES AND THEN SNUGGLE UP TO A NICE MOVIE, LOOK NO FURTHER!

If interested in meeting and possibly adopting Dumpling please submit an application on our website.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
