My name is Misty! I am a 1 year old boxer mix, and I currently weigh 46lbs. I am a bit nervous at CARA so far, but I'm working on getting braver and coming out of my shell. When I trust someone, I am very cuddly. I would do best in a moderately active home, and I love leash walks. I am also very dog friendly! Katy and Stevie are my best friends here. Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $155
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $115 plus S/N Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus S/N Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
