Hello!

My name is Toostie. I was just surrendered to CARA. I am a sweet medium, 3 year old girl. My previous owner just did not have time to spend with me. He said I get along with other dogs, and am loving girl. New situations make me a bit anxious but as I write this I am calm as a cucumber sitting with my rescuer not making a peep. I would love an active owner, with experince. Someone who can teach me how to be more comfortable in new situations. I do not like thunderstorms. I do good with children, but would be more successful with older kids so transition to my new home can be calm and stress free. I am housebroken. I have never been in a crate and do well left alone. I want adventure, stability and most of all a committed human who will give me tons of affection.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
