Learn more about the Great Dane.

Hello humans! My name is Charlie. I was recently surrendered to CARA by a super sweet family, that could not keep me anymore. They loved me so so much. I am a super duper sweet, and lovable boy. I love nestling my head in your lap and getting snuggles. Like most Danes I do not realize how big I am so I would do best with older children, for safety I would love a huge big back yard to frolick outdoors! I am super shy right now but have already started to open up. Once I am fully comfortable in my new home, it would be best to teach me some basic obedience. I LOVE other dogs!!! I am only looking for a home with previous or current Great Dane experience. I can't wait to meet you!!! XOXO - Charlie

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
