Hey there human! My name is Winston. I am a 10 year old 13lb terrier mix. I have beautiful luscious locks, although at the moment my hair is very thing and I am missing some of it due to how badly I was infested with fleas in my previous home. I am also underweight sadly. I was not living in the best home, although my owner did love me very much. Because of my previous home, I am very fearful of new people and new enviornments, BUT I am dog (prefer females) and cat friendly. NO SMALL CHILDREN, please since I am so fearful we might not get along. I am really really really affectionate, once you give me time to open up and decompress. I need a special home with tons of patience.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
