Hello World! My name is Mamma Mia! I am a sweet girl that was abandoned at my owners home. They moved away and left me in a small pen outside with no shelter, no food no water and covered in feces. The person selling the house I was abanadoned at called the rescue and they rushed to come see me. As soon as I saw them I wiggled and wiggled by butt so fast! I immediately turned over for a belly rub because I knew I was safe.

I had an old dog house that had a dirt floor and all I would do is sit on top of it and wait for my humans to return to me. They never came. That is how rescue staff found me and it broke their hearts into pieces.

Thankfully now I am just looking towards my future and my future is BRIGHT!! I have heartworms but the rescue will take care of those little buggers!! I get along with most dogs and love to go on walks. I am moderately active so having a fenced yard would be great!! Guess what after all I went through I am one of the best behaved dogs in my kennel. I sit on my little bed and do not make a peep. Many dogs here are very vocal because they are stressed but I am so quiet and sweet that all the volunteers rave about me!!!

If you think you can make me your buddy for life I would be so grateful!! LOVE Mamma Mia

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
