Hello there, my name is Bunny. I was recently rescued from Animal Control. By my condition it does not look like I was well cared for. And so now I find myself a 13 year old, mostly blind, mostly deaf, sweet girl that also has cancer. Because of my age, I am not currently a good candidate for aggressive cancer treatment, or even surgery to fix my luxating patellas, but I am however hoping to find a human with a big heart. A human that will adopt me and keep me comfortable until I pass, whenever that may be. What the folks here at CARA report, is that I am super duper sweet, and can get around great despite my visual and auditory set backs. I am currently on Benadrly, an antibiotic for my skin, and omega 3 capsules to help my joints. I really am not going to require much up keep, but I do need an experienced adopter to help me continue living comfortably.  Please know that helping a senior like me is so worth it, even if our time is limited.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
