My Rescue
Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

I hope my sweet, soulful eyes drew you in! My name is Cody, and I am an older fella. I am 6yrs old and 65lbs. I am not sure what breed I am. I have been surrendered to animal control so many times, thankfully the most recent time I was rescued by CARA!

My previous owner said that they use to surrender me due to rental restrictions, so it was honestly never my fault and out of my control. Needless to say every time I was at animal control and at risk, I was so confused and stressed.

I am confused and scared still, but so kind, gentle and quiet here at the rescue. I appear to be housebroken, and I walk to gentle on leash.

I really just want a stable home to call my own. Also a home with owners who will make sure I stay healthy. This last time that I was surrendered I was covered in fleas, severe skin irritation and a double ear infection that is causing me pain :( I had also not seen a vet in years.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
