My name is Derek. I am a 1-2 year old GSD mix. I was found as a stray with a nasty neck wound from an embedded collar and very underweight. I am working to get my weight and strength up at the rescue and having my neck treated by the vet! I am super duper sweet and affectionate. I do like other dogs. I am not yet cat tested. I would likely do good with children. I am going to need a human that is going to exercise me a ton, and give me a good structured life! I am going to be the best loyal companion!!!

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
