Learn more about the Chihuahua.

My name is Julie. I am a ten year old Chihuahua. I am a little chunky potato. Tragically my previous owner had to go to a nursing home, and I was left at my home alone. The rescue thankfully came to my rescue and I am now decompressing. I really need someone who is going to be very patient, sweet and quiet with me because I am scared of my own shadow due to some of the trauma I went through. I am a lap dog through and through. Once I trust you I am just about the sweetest little thing you have ever met! I need a QUIET, LAID BACK home! I am not yet tested with animals.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
