Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.

Hey there! My name is Chloe! I am a 4 yr old, 50 lbs Shepard/Lab mix. I ended up at animal control because my previous owner lived with someone who forced her to get rid of him. I was found by CARA at animal control, and now I am safe! They have spoken to my previous owner who loved me very much and learned the following: I am housebroken, and crate trained. I do not love cats, I want to chase them. I was not around dogs at my previous home, but have been dog tested at the rescue and do well. I walk good on leash and ride well in the car. I am pretty perfect don't you think!

Now I just need someone to take a chance on me!! I am so lovable! Please come meet me!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
