This dog is not available through our rescue but we are doing a courtesy post to help find his furever home.  If you are interested in him please email us at cara@cara-nc.org and we can put you in contact with his current owner.  Here is a little bit about him:

My name is Stripes.  I am a 1 1/2 year old pup.  I enjoy hiking and playing with other dogs.  I love belly rubs and I do well with children. I am crate trained, housebroken and also neutered.  My owner decided that I need a new home due to no fault of my own, so I am hoping someone will come across my sweet face and fall in love.  I wish nothing more than to find a home that values my life and will make a commitment to me forever because I am a GOOD BOY!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
