to fill out an application. We had a call about an abandon kitten found in the parking lot of an auto parts store. We all thought it would be fitting to name this small thing Hemi. Which are the engines put in the dodge charger and some muscle cars. She needed a big powerful name to grown into and to try to emulate. With her being left only being a couple days old and having a serious case of Uri. She is now trithing playing with her foster sister Bellatrix. She is the definition of a purr machine and loves to be snuggled. Her birthday is 5/30/22 and she is 2 pounds at the moment. She has been introduced to the foster mom's two large dogs and seems totally fine with them as well. If you are interested in meeting this little cutie, please summit an adoption application.
* Special information regarding adopting Puppies and Kittens* Our adoption fees are: * Altered puppies dogs $ 155 * Altered kittens & cats $ 95 * Puppies under 4 months who have not been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $115 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption * Kittens under 4 months who have not been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $70 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption Our policy is that all adopted animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving the premises. If at any time an animal under the age of 4 months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter agrees to have the animal being adopted spayed/neutered by a veterinarian of their choice by the age of 6 months. As part of this contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter contract. ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease. Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment).
