Hello Friends.  My name is Sabrina and I am the top ranking senior girl here at CARA.  Everyone here says that I am the best and they love me so much.  When I first came in I was very sick so my friends here took me into the vet and recently found out that I have diabetes.  This may sound scary but I am really doing well.  I sit and let them put this medicine called insulin in me twice a day and then I go about playing around and loving on everyone.  I would love to go to a place where someone is home to give me my meds when it is time and to give me love and attention for the rest of my days.  If you feel like this is something that you would like to do for me please put an application in on our website.  Once it is approved they can set up a meeting for you to come in and meet me and see how easy it really is to take care of me.  I do need to go to the vet every few months to get my sugar levels checked as well.  The vet that gave me the insulin loved me so much she wanted to make me their office cat but knew that someone had to be with me more than that.  Hope to hear from you soon so I can start living the rest of my life out in my amazing forever home.

Our adoption fees are: 

*  Altered cats $ 95

* Kittens   under 6 months who have not  been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption -  $70 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption 

Our policy is that all adopted     animals    must be spayed or neutered     before leaving the premises. If at     any         time    an     animal    under the age of     6  months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and     agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter     agrees to have the     animal    being adopted spayed/neutered by a     veterinarian of their choice by the age of 6 months. As part of this     contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This     deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter     contract. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
