to fill out an application. Hello My name is Pixie. I am a 4 year old Staffy mix. I was rescued from living in a pen for 4 years. I was not getting the attention I deserve and was living in less than ideal conditions. I am slowly getting use to living indoors, and am hoping to find an understanding adopter that will allow me plenty of time to decompress. I am dog friendly, and will be tested with cats soon. So far, I seem happiest when I am sitting right at your feet. Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in meeting me :)
Items that I could benefit from having during my stay here: Wet dog food Purina dog chow Soft dog treats Nylabones Bleach Rescue brand cleaner * Special information regarding adopting Puppies * Our adoption fees are: * Altered Dogs older than 1 year old $250 * Altered Dogs between 6 months to a year $275 * Puppies under 6 months who have not been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $235 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 Our policy is that all adopted animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving the premises. If at any time an animal under the age of 6 months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter agrees to have the animal being adopted spayed/neutered by a veterinarian of their choice by the age of 6 months. As part of this contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter contract. ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease. Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment).
