Update: "Sadly my brother Luigi passed away on 2/4 after fighting against noncardiogenic pulmonary edema. All I can say is that it was devastating for me and the folks at the rescue. Luigi was nothing short of the most amazing dog you could have met.  I am now looking for a VERY loving home, I will not settle for less. I do good with all dogs, and cats. I am only 10lbs and very low maintenance. I really just want to be loved. I miss my brother so much, and really need the best human to come and save my broken heart. Hello! Our names are Mario and Luigi. We are two bonded brothers. We are both 10lbs, and 13/14 years old. The rescue is taking care of our dentals so we should start feeling great after that!! We do not have any major medical concerns, aside from a little ulcer on Luigi's eye that is also getting looked at! Our owner sadly passed away, and we had nowhere to go. So far we are both the sweetest and most quiet little angels. We like to snuggle on your lap, and follow each other around everywhere! If you are interested in meeting us, please fill out an application. Senior dogs like us are often overlooked but we are so darn perfect!!

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
