My name is Muffin, and first and foremost I am a MALE. You may have clicked on my picture because of my charming good looks, but please read my bio. I am an 8 year old Shih Tzu mix.  I am generally healthy, but please consider what adopting a senior dogs means.

I am around 13 little lbs. I have been an only dog my whole life, so I would prefer to keep it that way. I am housebroken and do okay in a crate if needed, but I am respectful of the home space so I prefer not to be in a crate. I am sweet and really goofy.

I need a firm owner, who will be direct with me when needed. You can compare me to a bit of a spoiled child hehe. If you are interested in meeting me please fill out an application to adopt! The rescue will review and then approve an application for me that is in my best interest. Afterwhich they will schedule a meeting, and I can go home if that meeting goes well!!

If you must know anything important about me, it is that if I do not want to be pressured to do something I will get very sassy!!! I need a lot of structure and a lot of boundries.

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
