Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

I am Chili, one of a bonded pair with my brother Cornbread. Our momma sadly was not able to take care of us so we ended up at the shelter. We are super sweet and very playful. We will literally love you to death! We would prefer to be the only dogs in the home, but can live with cats and kiddos! We are small so very easy to travel with! Walking is a breeze for us with good harnesses. We just want to find a place to call home!!! Love ya! Chili

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
