My name is Crunch wrap you can call me Crunchy!! I was sitting at the county shelter for some time before I joined the rescue. I was so scared there and not really opening up much to the staff. I am now opening up a ton and working on leash skills, since I never walked on a leash prior to being found as a stray. I do need someone who is experienced with rescue dogs who have an unknown past. I need patience to adapt to living inside since I was likely on my own as an outdoor dog for some time. I am spunky and sweet if I trust you and I give the best hugs!!

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
