Hi! My name is Rusty! I was picked up with my sister from Lee County Animal Control as a stray and in desperate need of a bath. We were rescued by CARA and got the care we needed thanks to everyone here, even though we were a little shy at first. My sister and I learned very quickly that we were safe now. We are learning new things everyday as well as trusting others! I'm so happy my sister found a home already, but I am still waiting for my turn to find a furever home! Super playful and someone who loves attention, I can be your next best friend! Such a handsome boy, I am mostly white with gray markings and possibly a Husky Shepherd mix. Great with people, cat friendly and confident around children. Please consider adopting me, I am about 8 months old if you are looking for a puppy. Can't wait to meet you! 

 

 

* Special information regarding adopting Puppies *

Our adoption fees are: 

*  Altered puppies dogs $ 275 

*  Altered kittens  & cats $ 95

* Puppies under 4 months who have not  been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $235 plus S/N  Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption 

* Kittens under 4 months who have not  been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption -  $70 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption 

Our policy is that all adopted  animals  must be spayed or neutered  before leaving the premises. If at  any   time  an  animal  under the age of  4 months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and  agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter  agrees to have the  animal  being adopted spayed/neutered by a  veterinarian of their choice by the age of 6 months. As part of this  contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This  deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter  contract. All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
