Learn more about the Chihuahua.

My name is Cali Roll. I am a small Chihuahua mix. I think I am senior. I was rescued from the local shelter. I had given birth there to a stillborn puppy. I was so heartbreaking because I did not want to leave my baby or accept that he was stillborn. Nevertheless, I am now grieving him and hoping to find an amazing home. I am sweet, and just want a warm lap to cuddle up to. I could do well with dogs and cats. I am a bit nervous when you leave me alone, but I am getting use to it.

If you are wondering, my puppies name was Rainbow Trout and the rescue gave him a proper burial. I miss my baby,  but I am senior and should not be having puppies at this age. Thankfully I will be spayed before adoption takes place.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
