Poundcake is ready to live out her Golden Years in a loving home with humans who love her. She came to CARA in rough shape and slowly getting healthy. Poundcake came from the local shelter as a stray. She also had some scarring from a tether or collar that was on too long or too tight and looked like she had many litters of puppies. The staff here would love to see this sweet gentle Golden Girl in a home she deserves with people who will show her kindness, respect, and love. All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
