Socks came to CARA due to her owner being put on hospice. Her owner is just heartbroken that she is having to bring us Socks and loves her very much. Due to her declining health, she knew she was very limited in taking care of Socks and asked CARA to help her find precious Socks a loving home. Socks is living with us until she finds the perfect home and until then, her owner comes to visit her as much as she can during her final days. All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
