My name is Sampson. I was found as a stray and sadly my owners have not reclaimed me and so I find myself looking for a home!! I am looking for someone with breed experience, I am a very sweet and gentle boy.

Currently I am undergoing heartworm treatment so I need to finish that up before official adoption, but I am eligible for foster! Despite being such a love bug with people, I have a bit of a prey drive. So I would prefer to be the only pet in the home! If you are interested in finding out if I am a good fit, my foster mommy would be happy to speak with you after you fill out an application.

The longer I stay with the rescue, they get to know me better so they can find me the best fit possible. Again, I am just the sweetest boy, who adores people, knows basic commands, is housebroken, walks and ride well, and is just a joy to have around.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
