Hey there. My name is Louie and I imagine you checked out my profile because you are looking for a frenchie. I am glad you came to inquire about me, but there are some things you need to know. First and foremost, I need a soft palate surgery and stenotic nairs surgery. This was recommended to be done years ago, but my owner never did it sadly. It will drastically improve my life, as I have difficulty breathing when the weather is hot, when I am anxious or over excited. So I have to find a human who is greatly aware of this. Currently I am in an amazing foster home, with another dog. I like to hump but I am so easily learning that it is not okay. I am housebroken and walk well on leash. I really listen very very well. I am super snuggly and love to play but again, I need a human to be mindful that I have difficulty breathing when things get to chaotic. Sadly I do not like to be left alone, but thankfully my foster dad works from home. He does however spend lots of time away so I am getting use to being in the crate when he goes into the office, or takes a motorcycle ride.

All in all, I am looking for a forever home. One that will consider having this surgery done for me to improve the quality of life. The surgery is normally only performed between October to March according to the vet. I also am looking for someone who will love me and keep me forever. My last family surrendered me because they are having a baby soon, and they did not think I would adjust well not being the center of attention. My foster dad is learning that they lost such a great guy. He says I am quite the good house guest, and he likes to call me a piggy, due to my pig like personality traits. All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
