"It isn't as though I'm any position to be critical, but honestly, naming a black kitty 'Coal.'  How many white cats are named "Snowflake?"  Oh well, I think names for cats are about as worthless as a bicycle for a fish.  I mean really; how many cats actually come when they are called?  Oh sure - I've heard stories (unconfirmed, of course) about cats that come when called.  It must be their 'job' to make the rest of us look bad.  BUT!  It turns out I am a VERY 'good kitty' and would love the opportunity to show you.  My buddy, "Cali" and I had a great life, until one day our human mommy didn't come home from the hospital.  Then, to make matters worse, our human Daddy packed his bags and left for some war-thing.  Bummer.  So here we are; patiently waiting for our next (and hopefully last) home.  Please let us show you how delightful we are. Together or separately; always your choice (but check out CARA's reduced adoption fee for two kitties).

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
